Ken setting the hook on a nice Shenandoah smallmouth.
Phillip Reep my step father with his biggest South Carolina Buck.
This big 8 point buck dressed out at 211 lbs one of the biggest deer I have seen coming from SC.
Good job on this buck Phillip. He said that he got him coming down a rub line around 8:45am during mid October. What a buck!!!
Like I said, those cool days produce some great bites and it did for Ken Presley. Ken and Sean Golden took a Sunday morning boat ride on the Shenandoah River and look what was biting. Nice Smallmouth Bass Ken.
Danny Davis of Louisa Virginia with his first buck taken on our hunt club in Louisa with a Muzzleloader. Danny said this buck was in a briar patch in the middle of a field with a doe. One shot put this guy on the ground. Nice buck Danny!!!
Dennis Campbell with a trophy 14pter
that a club member took last week on a mountain property. Tell me they don't grow'em big here in Virginia.
Kye Hall from Colorado with his Mule Deer buck from this 2011 season. DANG what a deer. Kye manages to get a good trophy every year from the West.

Chris with his March 9 pound largemouth from Lake Anna.
Below is Chris Craft with some of his catch from Lake Anna.
Well Mom is one ahead of me already for this year. She shot her first turkey the first day of the South Carolina 2011 season.
Here are two very proud hunters, both are my uncles, Steve and Willie
Parr. Three South Carolina Gobblers on April fools day and what an
incredible story they had to tell. Wish I would have been there for that
excitement.
My step father Phillip Reep with his first North Carolina long beard.
Clay Lewis with a few turkeys that his dad and he took the first day of the Virginia turkey season 2011.
Check out Honk Monsters Lanyards, they will keep your calls within reach.
Well I would say it is time to break out those fishing poles but a lot of anglers never even put them away since we had no winter at all. It fills like it went from Fall straight to Spring. Had reports that the fishing was good all over the state. Well I am looking to get back out on the water but not with my gun but my fishing poles in hand. March really starts the Tournament fishing season throughout the state and I will be one of those out on the water, Fishing in the
FOM tournaments.
March also gets me back in hunting mode, it has only been a few weeks since late Goose season ended and Turkey season is all ready among us.
I hope the Turkeys are gobbling up a fever now and ready to run in at the first peep of my calls, sure hope this weather has not messed them up for this spring. I did hear Turkeys gobbling in late January on the last day of Duck season. I think that day would have been a better day to Turkey hunt.
Well what ever you get into this spring, fishing, hunting or just enjoying the outdoors have fun at it and maybe we will see you afield.
Well it finally happened, on a Tuesday raining thunder storm-in morning. Shane Baker with his Virginia long beard.
Doug Badenhop with a spring crappie from Lake Anna.
We have seen this face before and he has done it again. Clay Lewis with his PY bear from Virginia.
Now this is a truck load of deer. Both bucks from Central Virginia.
Look at this wall hanger a fisherman caught with his camera.
